New Phone

So, I have been testing android apps with my phone...Galaxy Ace Plus... after so many times, it started to hang and now it is gone.... So, I bought new phone last saturday (5/4/2014).. It is LG G2... which costs RM 1600. I just hope i dont need to buy another one anymore....

Internship

Finally, i got a company for internship. The name of the company is MadCat World and it is near Ampang Park. One of my seniors has been working there and my friend is doing internship too. I went there today for interview and she gave me three questions related to programming. After i have answered, she asked me to introduce myself and what my interests are... Now that i got a job and on my first day, the guy with whom i m supposed to work with, is not coming to work. So, i just sit at the office and play game which is developed by one of the workers. I just need to finish the game and report what needs to be changed. I still can't pass the level 2 though. Anyway, i hope i could learn from them and apply during my intern. Inshallah....

I lost my phone on first day on Ramadan

Hi ya'll

Tonight is the first night of the Ramadan and i intentionally missed the Tarawee and i missed it. I was on the way back from KL and took Metro 91 bus as usual. One chinese old guy sat beside me and i was playing game on my phone. After few minutes, i stopped and put in my pocket but not deep enough. Then i felt asleep. I was awoke when that old guy took off and i fell asleep again. After few minutes, one guy came and sat beside me and next stop he got off. Then, i woke up and reached for my phone. But it wasn't there anymore. I dont know why, but i m not worried that i lost my phone but m more worried about the phone numbers that i dont have back up. I was so furious and wanted to rest my mind. So, i stayed at room and watched one movie. I hope Allah would forgive me for that. May Allah give me strength to pass this Fasting month without any hardships. Amen.

Long time no see, eh ?
Well, i have been hunting for company and got one. It is near KL Festival. The things i like about that company is , it is small... not much people so i believe i dont need to do much work and also i can wear any dress i want except jeans and round neck t-shirt. They give RM 400 per month. I m supposed to start my training on 26 June but that time i still didn't get any company so i kept searching. Now i got one and Ramadan is coming so i wanna do it after Hari Raya. But if i do at that time, i will finish in February. I don't really care cuz i am gonna miss this convocation anyway. I will be graduating in Dec 2013 but my convocation is in 2014.  Emmm... i m gonna miss this student life.

Oh btw, last month i got a birthday present from one of my best friends...
I have never celebrated my birthday and i dont usually accept gift. At least she remembered my birthday. I dont know hers. She asked me about PowerBank price and she is so in need to get one yet she was kinda broke. So, i bought it for her as a birthday gift. When i gave it to her, she was shocked. But i m happy cuz i gave her what she needs most as a birthday gift... :)

After few days, she said she wanted to give me smth so i went and met with her. She gave me Jean jacket as birthday  present but unfortunately it was big for me and i couldn't wear it. I dont know why bought me that jacket cuz i m not so fond of that thing. Anyway, i took it as a memorial gift from my best friend. She is the best friend i have ever had.... she is fewer months older than me and i respect her. She is like a sister to me. She gave me advice for the girl i m in love...actually it was one-sided love. She just assume as a friend.

We were in same batch and we have been friends for almost 5 years. She used to send me messages for my birthday, when i come back from my country she welcome me. When i have exam, she wishes me luck. We used to go out when she comes to gombak campus cuz she is Kuantan. That last time it was holidays and we spent much time together. Since then, i had feeling for her. After few months, i told her that i love her but she said she just want to be friends. Then, we agree for no hard feelings. But since then, things have changed. She doesn't sms me anymore. When she came to gombak, she doesn't even tell me. It hurts me so much. I guess, she took my words so seriously. I have never liked a girl like this one. She is funny, smart, lovable and friendly. I used to tease her but she didnt mind. I feel guilty that i took advantage of our friendship. You can gain friend anytime but to have a best friend it took years and i just waste it. I hope and pray that things will come back to normal. I hope she just wants to concentrate on study and dont wanna think about it now.

May Allah gives me patient and make me worthy of her. Amen.

Hunting company for practical training....

Hi guys!

I was busy with exams and FYP since this is my last semester. I was so depressed. This coming short semester i need to do practical training and yet i still didnt get any company yet. I have sent emails to my companies but still no reply yet. It is so frustrating. Just finding company for practical is this difficult then i can't imagine how much it would be after graduation. ~Sigh~......

2nd Islamic Talk in Malaysia 2013 (Organized by MMA-M)

This is the 2nd islamic talk about current issues in Myanmar (Burma) which is my country.
There are lots of religion conflict going on over there. Buddhists are killing Muslims. It is obviously genocide (Ethnic cleansing). So, MMAM (Myanmar Muslim Association Malaysia) has organized this event and invited some scholars from Burma.

Debate

Hi...
Today i m gonna give u some advices i got from my debate tutor.....
During debate,

1) If you can't answer the question asked by audience, then say "I will get back to you later". (At the end, somehow answer the question indirectly if you can else just conclude and leave)

2) If you have nothing more to say, keep repeating what you said in different words or elaborate a bit more...
Instead of asking questions to audience like a beggar, rather say like "Before i continue further explanations(though you have nothing to say) , do you have any POIs ? " . That sounds more professional. :)

Beta Test Presentation

Hi ya'll... What's happening ?
It has been a while i dont blog.... busy with projects and assignments....

          Yesterday i had a Beta test presentation and had a debate with the examiner. He didn't give complements as an examiner rather based on his personal ego.. He wants to change the way students present. For example, in grant chart, it should be like really professional and the arrangements should be as it ought to be. I mean come on.... 95% of students prepare their presentations just to show what they have done and get score. They don't really think that they are preparing for some companies they wanna work after their graduation. Even the university doesn't follow his suggestion and he is expecting us to follow. Man, seriously, i can't handle that examiner and started arguing with him. Well, i wasn't in a good mood that day either. He said he is expecting something new and what we have presented is just old things like every years... we have spent much time on this project and at least he should have praised a little bit. That's why students don't like him... whenever they hear his name there is only one outcome ... it is... "OH! he is strict... and he asks lots of question" ....

55th Merdeka Day

31st August is the Independence Day for Malaysia... They celebrate it in Merdeka at KL. So, i went there took a video..But i couldn't go on 31st .... This is just rehearsal for actual event.

Flash Mob

So, yesterday there was a flash mob in Bukit Bintang for "The killing of Burma(Myanmar) Muslims" .... There was not much people just 16. They were planning to do at KLCC but it was raining so they changed the venue to Bukit Bintang. It was just 5 minutes. The participants are Arabs,Yemen,Bangladesh and two Burmese. I was shocked when i see those people. They were so motivated and active when some Burma Muslims are scare. Well, can't blame them too because if they are seen by Myanmar Embassy people then they might have problem when they go back to their country. I hope people around the world become more concerned about the Burma Muslims. Anyway, special thanks to those who conducted this activity.

Racist ?

      Hi... I was thinking to write this post for a long time... this time i m gonna write...
I came to Malaysia on 2007. I was studying at Center For Foundation Study(CFS IIUM) which is matriculation, It is one of the branches of IIUM....I spent almost 1 1/2 years over there and i have dealt with different kind of local students. After that i came to Gombak IIUM which is university. I have spent almost three years and have one more years to go for graduation.
     During this time i have dealt with more local students and i have learned more and more about them... Some people only make friend with me coz they wanna take advantage of me..Some people don't even bother to talk. Some local run away if you say you are foreigner.. So basically, there are two types of Malaysian in IIUM.. One who doesn't like foreigner and one who are friendly to foreigners.. I didnt say they like foreigners but they will make friend with you if they see something to take from you either educationally or socially.
     So basically, i m so disappointed at UIA/IIUM... Though it is International University but it doesn't have international standard. Whenever local students see a stranger, they didn't ask whether that person is local or not they just use their mother tongue.. There is a sign in every department saying "Speak only English in the office" yet they don't follow. So, i'd like to warn all the non-local students or students who are planning to come to IIUM... please don't... It would be your biggest mistake that you have ever made... I am a sponsored student so i can't just leave the University. If i could, i would. There are more disadvantages about UIA/IIUM but i m going to stop here... Mark my words guys...Good luck..

Biased UIA/IIUM

Results came out for Semester 2... Got less grade than i have expected.... I don't understand those lecturers at all... Whether i am not clever enough or they are being biased... They said the questions in exam will be asked based on understanding... So, i gave answer according to my understanding... but i got low marks. They can't just ignore my thoughts about the questions... There is one lecturer, she said answer the questions based on understanding...So, i answered what i have understood from the book..I wrote in my own words but when she marks, she goes by the book. So what is the point of explaining the slides in the class ? We could just memorize the slides and answer in the exam!! I don't know what to do anymore... During my study in UIA/IIUM for four years, i have seen different kind of lecturers... Some lecturers don't like international students, some give low marks and some doesn't care about international and speak Malay language in the class.....Last semester, one foreign student got low marks in quiz but one Malaysian student who copy answer from him got more than him.... I didn't know what happened... Even though it is International Islamic University, there are no chances for international students. No wonder, it's rank drops from top universities in Malaysia.

Random thoughts

To all my friends,
We came from different countries,different towns and gather at one university unfortunately. Though we are from different places far away, we live like brothers and sisters and also BFFs. Sometimes, we tease each other.....and got angry.
Time is too short and also life.... So take advantage of the time we are together and forgive each other for the small small mistakes...and understand your friends.
Because after you graduated, they have to walk out for their life... they will go far away from you and they will work in different places... only at that time you will remember the time that you were together with them. So, i don't want you all to regret about it. Do take advantage of the time you and your friends are together....

Just finished the presentation skills exam... damn! they said the exam will start at 8pm and they started at 8:50pm and also they changed the venue. The stupid thing is they dont have enough paper for students. So they went and copied. The paper should have 5pages and they give us only three pages. Lazy to go again so they write short que on paper and for 6MCQ we got full marks for that since they didn't copy that page. What a stupid people!!!

Finally, all the assignments and projects are finished.... now time to study for final exam.
Oh by the way, planning to switch off the lights for few minutes since today is Earth Hour day..... :D
